We need a picture for your blog!

Hi all,

We?re keen to get you out and about on the site and beyond, but here?s what we need from you to help us promote you more effectively:

1. A picture for your blog: A few of you have sent em in ? but most of you are concealing the goods. Don't be shy! A unique image for your blog will make it far more clickable. This could be a headshot, or whatever you use on social media. It needs to be at least 80 x 80 pixels, ideally square. But a rectangular shape is also OK. We can work with jpg or png formats. Please send it to [email protected]. We're adding em as they land, so you'll see results fast.

1. A network badge on your site: This links back to the homepage, which drives more readers to everyone. So keep the love flowing and attach that badge! We can share tips on how to attach your badge if you're struggling.

1. Your Twitter handle: Please take a gander at your profile on the directory and give us a heads-up if you didn?t include your Twitter handle when you applied. It gives us a quick and powerful way to spread the word to our wider audience. If you?re new to Twitter, we?ll be doing much more on this in August, so watch this space. Hmmm I have no idea what to post as a picture for my blog. I don't want to use my picture as at then min I would like to stay anon.

Anyone have any ideas for me?

Hi Elinor, I am not sure if I have been accepted into the network or not. How do I send in a picture? Do we need to reapply?

Hi there. You've probably seen my reply on the other thread, but we want a pic for all blog network members, and we ask for it after we've accepted their applications. So you don't need to do a thing at this point - just sit tight while we hustle through the last batch of applications. And thanks again for your patience!
