New messaging/chat - ??

When did this happen? I don't remember being notified about it and I thought I was down as invisible, but because of the new chat, I was changed to visible (grrr, this is why I don't trust Facebook).

How do I now get myself to invisible? I found the current icon just now, but have lost it.

that new chat = absolute pants

It quite often just changes it to on on it's own and it's blooming annoying.

To turn it off there is a litte star type thing in the very very bottom right next to the search button. click that then untick 'unavailable to chat' then click 'hide sidebar'

I can't see a little star. Is this when you are looking at 'messages'?

I also have a weird thing whereby right next to where it says Facebook in white in the top left hand corner, the three icons there are virtually the same colour as the banner, so I can't see them. Am wondering if my star is hidden somewhere as my screen seems to look different to how it should. Grrr.

FOUND IT! It wasn't visible, I had to click where it happened to be for it to show!
