Can I block posts from a certain "friend"?

We have a local freecycle type group on Facebook which is a "friend" of mine!

The trouble is there's so many posts, I'm getting fed up!

I still want to be their friend but can I block the posts until I want to look?

you can hide her updates

hover over the corner of her posts and click the x that appears

Hover over their name, an 'X' should appear to the right. Select 'Hide all by Xxx'. Not sure how you get them back but I assume you can.

I didn't get a hide all by xxx option, but I've blocked them for now.
