send dd to school or not?

She came home 4pm today from doing her duke of edinburgh. Hiked 17 miles over 2 days and camped overnight. She has blisters on both feet and went to bed crying cos dh said she has to go in tomorrow.
Unfortunately she has lessons for all her core subjects tomorrow.

I would let her have a day off to recover, but then I am a soft touch, poor thing must be knackered.

Put some plasters on and send her to school.

She has Saturday school?

I would send her in, though. But would make a fuss of her in other ways (and have DH drive her in, with a note to explain slippers/trainers).

So sorry - I must have looked only at the immediately preceding post (Friday evening) and - completely wrongly concluded that it was a query at day.

Hope she's on the mend! Character building, isn't it!

Amazed they went mid-week tbh - we all had to do ours in weekends and half terms etc.

After our bronze expeditions I remember they sprung tests on us all day on the monday, too - she'll be fine, at least that sort of stuff is sitting down.
