While everyone else is getting their thinking caps on

Well I for one was only hamming it up Twigs, so no worries,

Yeah, Small, as Monsieur Meatloaf so eloquently put it, I'd do anything for love, but I won't do that Grin

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 17:46

Grin well not on Lily Allen's dad anyway Wink

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 17:55

On anyone , Small, tbh. I do have my standards you know

and I know he's a cad but look at how elegant Lee's hands are too.

TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 18:05

must dash, the dinner's burning

'Cos we're all looking at Lee's hands in that pic, Small Hmm?!

Speaking of Macbeth, Mr Spiro is working late tonight so I'm finally going to watch Shakespeare Retold, whilst papier mache-ing & quaffing cider.

Twigs - DD wants a Rainbow Magic Fairy Party which will obviously be all girls, on the Saturday after her birthday. The day itself (as you probably know cos it's your DS's too!) is a Tuesday, so will have her 3 'baby friends' round - two of my friends and I gave birth within 10 days and another 5 months later. Am going to do a Roald Dahl theme as it's Roald Dahl Day (anniversary of his birthday too) & she is really into his books. Will do snozzcumber sandwiches, frobscottle, something with peaches & possibly Willy Wonka's chocolate fountain!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 19:59

Not again! The speedos are back.

PasstheTwiglets · 07/06/2011 20:09

Oh, Spiro, you must have a look at my Charlie & The Chocolate Factory cake in that case! (in the 'Cakes' album on my pohotos page). Honestly, it was so easy but it was the most effective one I've ever done (even if my Willy Wonka looked like a German shotputter :o) I didn't know it was Roald Dahl's birthday too!

PasstheTwiglets · 07/06/2011 20:11

Sorry, on FB, I should've added... will tag you in it to save you looking.

TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 20:37

Maud I'm merely giving equal opportunities to all the chaRActers and their beautiful hands, please don't be prejudiced just because he is scantily clad.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 21:01

One might have thought that Lee's finely sculpted hands were seen to better advantage in some other shots.

::Extracts smelling salts and great aunt Agatha's ostrich feather fan from her reticule::

TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 21:05

Well they are all folded up in that shot so not a very good display, in my shot his hands were displayed to their full advantage.

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 21:11

Well, Lee certainly is a cutie however he presents himself.

How is your JuRAssic Park coming along, Spiro?

I always feel very left out of the pink sparkly world, with boys, but Rainbow Magic Fairy parties sound pr-eetty grim, I have to admit.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 21:21

I'm quite glad to be left out ofthe pink sparkly world massive, although I do get envious of some of the beautiful girls clothes out there when compared to the dull boys clothes. Saying that, I have just bought smallboy major a pink t shirt which he loves.

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 21:26

It's awful isn't it, Small.? Racks and racks of frills and furbelows and other gorgeousness for the girlies, and half a miserable rail of olive, stone and navy for the boys. All my lot want is gross baggy stuff ten sizes too big for them.

MN is turrible slow for me tonite, ladiez. If I disappear suddenly, you'll know paralysis has set in.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 21:32

Yes, it's going at a snail's pace here too.

Rainbow Fairy Magic is truly vile - I confiscated all Girl's books (there are a trillion of them) as soon as I could. And I'm not sure that three miles of sparkly pink t-shirts is a wholly good thing - I try to buy Girl's clothes in France where they don't have the same Henry Ford attitude to pink.

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 21:35

Well be warned, Maud, I was not allowed to wear pink when I was a girlie and I am seriously addicted now, even at my age. I try not to let it show, though Grin

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 07/06/2011 21:42

No I don't mean the racks of pink Maud, but the gorgeous little girls clothes fromthe likes of Monsoon, they used to do some beautiful boys clothes too but only for the littlies, once boys turn 4 then it is as Massive describes - olive grey or navy or worse at camouflage which, as we all know, only looks good onSoldier Boys

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 21:44

I have always allowed it, Massive. Whether I have welcomed it or enjoyed it is another matter.

::Glances at own hot pink t-shirt::

Even Bloke has some pink shirts.

::He's so metrosexual emoticon::

SupermassiveLBD · 07/06/2011 21:45

It looks pretty darn good on him, though, Small.

OP posts:
PasstheTwiglets · 07/06/2011 21:48

This is why I like Boden clothes for boys. Lovely bright colours and not all surf/skate/lad stuff. Though having said that I've noticed they have gone a leeetle more that way this season which is disappointing.

Do like this one though :)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/06/2011 21:48

Oh indeed, Small. I am no stranger to Monsoon and Accessorise and had noticed how they abandon the boys after toddlerhood.

I prefer the more formal military attire.
