I (long story) am happily arranging a hen do for a friend but dont really know her that well. Its not her main one, I am sure, but a mini one with all the wives and girlfriends of the friends of the bloke she is marrying's IYSWIM

Sooo I need suggestions for what to do that is a thoughtful gesture but not necessarily a full on anne summers job

We are having a meal, restaurant is booked.

Wow you've been bowled over by responses havent you? I would suggest an actvity of some sort - something crafty? like glassmaking, or plate painting, or something sporty like a silly sports day in the park. Kids party for adults?

Can you have a chat with her and find out more about what her interests are?

How about a picnic, afternoon at a spa, or paintballing?

How about a wee trip to a nail bar for manicures? On my hen night (which was a strictly no "L" plates affair) before going for a meal we went to a cocktail making class which was a little boozy and a lot of fun.
