I saw a couple of footballers and a well known WAG. She smiled at me. I think she liked what I was wearing even though it was VERY un-WAGlike.

IntergalacticHussy · 13/05/2011 11:48

I met Prof Brian Cox the other night. was all i could do to keep from pinching his bum. oooh matron! still, costly lawsuit avoided Blush

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 13/05/2011 12:00

Marking place!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 13/05/2011 12:00

Oh, saw Gabriel Byrne at the National Theatre a little while ago (in the audience not a play!). He's a bit short.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 13/05/2011 12:06

I saw Jude Law a few weeks back, doing some promo stuff with the Free Theatre of Belarus. (as you do)

Other than that, only various Tory politicians which was far from exciting.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 13/05/2011 12:15

Oh yeah, my DP saw Boris Johnson on his bike in Islington recently. He didn't knock him off it, which I thought was a wasted opportunity admirably restrained.

SofaQueen · 13/05/2011 12:20

John Humphries (twice)
Colin Firth
Cameron Diaz (having dinner/drinks with Colin Firth)
Not recently, but I accidently bumped my son's pushchair into Will Young 2 months ago - didn't dawn on he who it was for 5 minutes.

woopsidaisy · 13/05/2011 13:43

Saw Rory McIlroy in Avoca the other day. He was texting, and with what my Dad would call " a lovely blonde". She was delighted with herself, and couldn't stop looking around to see who was noticing her-answer:no-one! Grin

jafina · 13/05/2011 13:47

sofaqueen - where did you see Colin Firth? I love him......Wink

I have seen mark owen twice recently, he lives nearish to me, he is truly pocket sized and has a lovely smile

rookiemater · 13/05/2011 13:47

This is a bit of a crap spot I'm afraid. We stayed at The Drunken Duck recently and I'm pretty sure it was Ross Kemp at the table beside us with a much younger looking blond woman. He was there the next morning at breakfast as well.
I might have asked reception but could only remember that he played Grant Mitchell and didn't want to embarass myself completely, so didn't say anything.

slug · 13/05/2011 15:00

Alan Rickman and Lindsay Duncan at the cuts protest march.

SofaQueen · 13/05/2011 19:31

Jafina - at a restaurant in West London. He is lovely.

littleomar · 13/05/2011 19:36

oh and marc almond near waterloo station a couple of weeks ago.

and that dr christian off of embarrassing bodies, outside soho gyms just down the road from where i saw marc almond. he is very tall.

littleomar · 13/05/2011 19:38

also (crap spot) guppy off casualty on a train. he asked me how old my baby was and nodded sagely when i told him. that was ages ago though.

VerityBrulee · 13/05/2011 22:01

PureBloodMuggle , I'm in Dublin too, we spend a lot of time spotting rugby players Grin We were beside jamie Heaslip at the traffic lights on the way to school the other day. Dc were very excited, it was a good start to my day too, he is much more handsome off the pitch minus the bandage around the head and gum shield.

chipstick10 · 13/05/2011 23:23

Saw Charlie Brooks shopping today and sat next to Kay Burley on the station on monday afternoon.

TooTiredToArgue · 14/05/2011 10:22

Dane Bowers at the University of Bath Sports Village (not doing anything remotely sporty, I may add).

And Anthony Head (of Buffy fame) in opticians in Bath. My DS was standing right next to him.....

Oh, and Clive Mantle (who used to be main consultant in Casualty) in Waterstones in Bath, choosing book with son, I think.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 15/05/2011 11:43

littleomar ADRIEN BRODY??!?!Envy

HollyBollyBooBoo · 15/05/2011 11:48

Sue Pollard in M&S in York - looking as mad as a hatter as is the norm!

thecatatemygymsuit · 15/05/2011 11:57

Rupert PJ and Dervla in my neighbour's garden...

TwoJackRussellsandabean · 15/05/2011 12:14

Living vicariously through my DH Chantelle off big brother in Glasgow on Thursday or Friday, although apparently he and his friends were transfixed by the outfit her friend was almost wearing (micro shorts and fishnets -although he thought he said he thought they were pants) and only realised who the other girl was afterwards.

I don't live or work anywhere that famous types would want to visit - sob!

shandyleer · 20/07/2011 17:23

I saw Debbie McGee at the garden centre this morning (sorry, doing the best I can in sleb spotting stakes, will try harder).

ednurse · 20/07/2011 17:30

Saw Beyonce last week. Filming an intimate TV series music show. 800 people there and 1 million applications for tickets so felt pretty blessed! Grin

Stilla · 21/07/2011 14:34

Brett Anderson (Suede) walking 2 mini greyhounds .

BertieBasset · 21/07/2011 20:47

I saw Terry Nutkins in the park a while back. Granted that is at the shallow end of celebrity I think
