Feeling guilty ...

Hi

Have name changed for this!

Today I was getting fuel and a few groceries in the Budgens attached to the station. I went to get a carton of juice off the shelf and another one fell off. I picked it up and put it back but I could see that it had started leaking. All the attendants were busy so I thought I would mention it when I went to pay.

But I forgot ... Have felt bed every time I think about it.

But, apparently, not bad enough to go back and confess / pay.

Juice cost £1.50 ish.

Should I phone them / go back? Really can't be bothered because it's quite a way (20 mins) but feel bad not to do anything ...

Oh no thats terrible the juice might haunt you. Which juice was it Orange, apple or mixed fruit?

ONLY joking, just ring them up to clear mind. I once went to argos and paid for the cheap iron but they gave me a really expensive one, i felt guilty and rang them up and they were fine and said that i shouldnt worry it was their fault.

Or you could go in tomorrow with your overall and mop bucket and mop the whole store for them, could be worth it for a guilt free nights sleep.

I wouldn't feel bad for making an honest mistake. If it bothers you you can mention it the next time you go in (they will just say forget it) or add another 20p to any charity donation. But I'd just move on with my life if I were you.
