Massive how did you know it was a Guy vid? [cgrin]

TheSmallPrint · 26/04/2011 21:17

Not sure it would have quite the same effect Maud. Sadly.

SupermassiveLBD · 26/04/2011 21:17

Oh, I adore midnight blue! What are this season's key pieces, I wonder. Hot pink Doc Martens again? Yawn. Your wardrobe sounds really street. I bought a couple of mags a week or so ago but have been too busy ogling Gizzy and friends following intellectual pursuits to remember to check them out.

[csmile] @ Garibaldi. I can't help remembering Dawn French and the Wagon Wheels. and other things she has done with that gob of hers

TheSmallPrint · 26/04/2011 21:18

It's more the rough and ready than smelly and dirty I'm after to be fair.

LadyVenetia · 26/04/2011 21:21

Evening! Are you all back to school today - we don't start till tomorrow. Can't believe Easter is over.

SupermassiveLBD · 26/04/2011 21:21

Small, I knew it was a Guy vid cos I had a quck peek and saw a big smirk.
. He's so appealing when he's arrogant.

LOL @ sweaty Mr Small. Same with Mr M. he'd just look cuddly. Not that he's fat, mind you. Just not big on smoulder.

LadyVenetia · 26/04/2011 21:23

I've been clicking on video links but none work on my phone. :(

SupermassiveLBD · 26/04/2011 21:25

One of my favourite Vogue-speak terms is a trench That always has me in snurky fits

Hello, lady V, how are you?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/04/2011 21:29

My wardrobe is really street? If only! Vieux chapeau, more like. Every so often I read a thread in Style and Beauty where they are decrying certain shops and labels as tragically middle-aged and almost without fail they are where I buy my clothes.

I don't remember Dawn French and wagon wheels, but I remember Victoria Wood remarking of someone (her friend Kimberley, perhaps) that she wouldn't say she had a big mouth, but she could get a wagon wheel in without biting it. I can't find the sketch on YT but I can find this extract from my autobiography .

TheSmallPrint · 26/04/2011 21:30

Oooh num num num, Lucas in courier mode on my tele!

TheSmallPrint · 26/04/2011 21:34

Sorry about that, got slightly distracted by leather and glove in teeth combo but with short hair Grin.

Hi Lady V, were back to school tomorrow too.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/04/2011 21:35

It's Wham! night at the Academy!

Boys in leather

Kiss girls in pearls

::dances round sparkly reticule::

TheSmallPrint · 26/04/2011 21:39

That's the fella Maud!

LadyVenetia · 26/04/2011 21:48

Thanks massive, I am well. On the computer now he he (yes!), but hubby is around so no vids anyway Sad

LadyVenetia · 26/04/2011 21:49

Lovely Maud!!! Keep em coming!

SupermassiveLBD · 26/04/2011 21:50

Oh, nice pics. it was naughty of the Spooks people to put Lucas in leather and make him do the glove thing!

So I have viewed the Gizzy viddy. Poor lamb. I had a look at the comments on there. Wink , They do seem to like him, bad though he is.

Maud, I must google sparkly reticule and see if I can't get one for myself to dance round. I am positively [cenvy]

SupermassiveLBD · 26/04/2011 21:53

Am really loving the courier man. He'd go down a treat, delivering boxes of chocs

Maud, I love that Victoria Wood song!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/04/2011 22:03

Victoria Wood is a genius and national treasure, n'est-ce pas?

I think I've posted my quota of links for the day. It's your turn to entertain me.

::Reclines on chaise longoo, eating grapes and waiting for Mr Thornton enlightenment::

TheSmallPrint · 26/04/2011 22:03

No it wasn't naughty of Spools people, it was inspired! Grin

LadyVenetia · 26/04/2011 22:14

They must have been watching (starting at 6.44)

SupermassiveLBD · 26/04/2011 22:16

I can just imagine the Man's face, when he saw the day's costume, Small. A la Mr Thornton's facepalm.

Let me give you a lucky dip,Maud. A random shot from Bing perhaps

Bada bing

LadyVenetia · 26/04/2011 22:27

I'm now being followed by @JohnThornton_NS on Twitter. I've followed a few JTs but this one actually seems quite chatty...haven't spoken to him myself yet though....

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/04/2011 22:28

Oooh! Mr Thornton in chiaroscuro. That is not random. That is perfect.

:bada bing bada bing::

DumSpiroSpero · 26/04/2011 22:35

OOOH! That's rather nice Massive, and the Gizzy, Lady V. I really don't want to fancy him.when he's doing things like that but I just can't help myself Blush

SupermassiveLBD · 26/04/2011 22:37

I thought it might appeal when i saw it, Maud.

that topless vid reminds me of something (and I heard you slurp at him, Marian, you know you want him really, stupid girl)

But I was surfing about on t' interweb, generally looking for history books, novels or biogs etc and by random chance came across some of those Romantic Swoony Passionate chick lit type ones. And the topless fit Lords and Lairds etc in the cover paintings were not a patch on the reality of our boys.
