Fans of Steve Backshall - a moment please

I JUST MET HIM!!!! Well, about two hours ago but I've only just got chance to post.

Went to the opening of the new Living Worlds gallery at Manchester Museum. Steve opened the gallery and made a speech. I have no idea what he was saying - he was wearing an open-necked shirt and jeans and looked completely lush!

They did group photos with him. DS1 got to stand right next to him. I was right behind Steve. It took a lot of willpower not to lean down and lick/bite that delicious Backshall neck! He was leaning right against my leg and then spoke to me afterwards!

To be honest, I think that practically means we're married. Grin Although not sure how I'd explain that to DH!

I'm seeing him soon at a show near home. He lives in the neighbouring village. I might follow him home.....Grin

Honest to goodness, I don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful neck. And he filled out his shirt very nicely ....

Wooburn Green. At least that is what an article in the Daily Fail recently said. He has an injury that means he is in constant pain. Or he was earlier in the year (in the article). I'd help to make him feel better Grin

DS1 got a signed copy of his book too.

We went to the Live and Deadly show in St Helens in February and to Liverpool last October. DS1's such a big fan you see and I don't like to disappoint him. I'm such a loving and caring mum. So if DS1 wants a huge poster of Steve on his wall, then who am I to stop him? Grin

Speaking of DS1, I'd better go and read him his story instead of lusting after Steve on MN!

here. might be wrong about the location, it says near high Wycombe so could actually be Marlow.

MollieO - think that's right about the pain. He's still on crutches. On the plus side that means he wouldn't be able to run away!

My Cousin is off filming with him for his next series in May as a production bod in his team. South America I think. I am green ....

She was supposed to do this filming trip thing and then the ankle injury or operation (can't remember which) got in the way. I shall be quizzing her in detail on her return.

My DS's school friend told his Mum one day that DH was not DS's dad. Friend's Mum hasn't know us long enough to be 100% sure whether that is true or not so was somewhat uncommittal in her reply. Friend then said that DS's Dad was Steve Backshall and that he keeps in touch. So keep your hands off my baby father jsgirl and mollieo!!

Fairly sure he's not gay. This was mentioned on another thread a liitle while back and someone posted saying that either they or their DH knew him and he's not gay. I think.

Met him in November - he has a very firm handshake, and a veeeeery intense stare...
