If your family kept commenting you didn't have children for them to dote over?

Hey all...For a long time now, some members of my family keep passing comment on the fact there are no children from me? I have a sister who has two great children and my parents love them to bits. But - every now and again, I get smart comments about the fact I have no children.

It's not going to happen, ever - but it's through choice and the life I lead, not any other reason. But still, it's boring to get the jibes.

Surely my family should be happy that one of us has given children for them to enjoy? I'm sure others have been here before, but would appreciate others views.

I'd tell them that if it bothers them that much you'll get a dog....

Tell your parents that their example has put you off ever having kids.

But seriously, how inconsiderate and annoying.

I think you should just gather them all together and tell them what you've told us in no uncertain terms. Demand that they stop hassling you about it.
