How do I de-friend please? It's verging on urgent.

And for future reference - is there some sort of idiot's guide to this scary phenomenon that is Facebook (AKA 'the-work-of-the-devil') ?

I just don't get who sees what, though I sort of get the privacy settings, I think?

I want to invite friends on one page to be friends with another (community) page.

A teenager talked me through it in 30 secs and it seemed so straightforward, but not now.

I've never scyped, tweeted or done anything much live ( - well, apart from, you know, RL).

to De-friend someone you must block them, then they can no longer see your wall or posts.

Set all your privacy settings to friends only, then you have SOME control over what is seen and by whom....BUT ALWAYS ASSUME that everything you write can be seen by EVERYONE and therefore dont ever put anything on your wall that you would not be prepared to shout out in the pub!

The only way to chat privately on fb, is to send a message to an individual, or to do instant message chat....hope this helps
