No she is protecting her dd from being snapped by photographs who haven't paid for the privilege!

MollieO · 08/04/2011 20:41

Photographers not photographs..

Shhhh · 08/04/2011 20:42

I initially thought that but baby seems to be v low down.. almost in bf position.

I may be wrong Grin

No, she is hiding baby from pap.
I've breast fed babies while walking around (and chasing a toddler) and that wasn't the position I was holding my baby.

I assumed she was

I could feed my DD on the move when she was tiny

Shhhh · 08/04/2011 20:51

Im Shock] at those who could feed your lo's while on the move..

Really.... I wish I could have as it would have allowed me more time to get out of the house and to be able to multitask Grin.

When I have baby3 I will come back and pester you that did !!

I don't know, but does anyone else find it bizarre slebs reporting the minutiae of their lives via twitter, and people following it. What are they going to say "'thank God I don't have a woman in here'? Oh that Graeme, he's such a card" you don't even know him!

notnowbernardImBoilingTheBunny · 08/04/2011 20:52

I've fed mine like that too

Shhhh · 08/04/2011 20:57

I agree bumper..

dh was on a train last week coming home from london, a certain footballer was sat on his table opposite him.

The footballer was forever on his mobile so dh assumed he would be on twitter. Dh went on to this celebs twitter only to read what he was typing at that time!

Boring stuff really, but comments about those around him (nothing about dh however Wink) BUT do they not realise that people sat around them buy be followers of theirs and completly offended Hmm.

Im not on FB or twitter, so maybe I don't get it..Wink.

I would say that the baby is latched on. I sometimes did the supermarket shop whilst feeding and with 2 other dc in tow. I'll admit that dh pushed the trolley though, lol.

violethill · 09/04/2011 11:19

Oh I'm sure she is.... because of course she's the first mother to have two (yes, that's right TWO) children and to bf.

Expect the definitive book about being a parent of TWO children soon....

Shhhh · 09/04/2011 18:13

Grin.

Dunno, but just looked at the link and DS (4) said 'Mummy, is that you?' I love that boy Grin

EvenLessNarkyPuffin · 09/04/2011 18:28

Grin at Wubblybubbly junior.

washnomore · 09/04/2011 18:37

TSC I thought that too, mine are bloody pendulous. Credit to her though (the perky bitch Wink)

I remember not long after DD was born I answered the door while feeding her. It as the same MW who'd sat with me for bloody hours while I'd struggled to get DS feeding at the same age. She was well impressed Grin

FAB5 · 09/04/2011 18:41

I used to get told off by my health visitor if I answered the door to her while feeding ds1. I fed him too much apparently.

washnomore · 09/04/2011 19:29

FAB, you'll have been doing that newfangled "demand feeding" thing I imagine? Tsk tsk Grin

FAB5 · 09/04/2011 20:41

I accept I might have fed him some times when he was crying for something else but he is 10 now and there isn't an ounze of fat on him and being my first I had no clue what I was doing!

RhinestoneCowgirl · 09/04/2011 20:45

I managed to feed DD the grand total of once in a sling when she was about 6 months old. There was no way I could carry and feed either of my babies when they were newborn - boobs too big and millk supply so fierce that they kept falling off!

Paschaelina · 09/04/2011 21:25

The best I managed was to have a wee, wipe, knickers up, one Gand under running tap and back to sofa and tea. Grin

That was when Boy was small, not a long, wriggly, people-gazer with a penchant for flashing my boob at the whole of Pizza Express Blush

llareggub · 09/04/2011 21:32

Someone on here once claimed to have slid down a slide while breastfeeding. Now tha has got to be the most impressive multi-tasking ever.

It's possible that she is breastfeeding in the picture. I don't get why women are so horrible about other women, particularly when thy have recently given birth. Frankly, if any of these comments (and others about her) had been made about me as a new mother it probably would have tripped me over he edge. Nasty work.

llareggub · 09/04/2011 21:33

Actually, re-reading this thread the comments on this thread are nothing compared to some I've read about her here. So I take some of it back.

CointreauVersial · 09/04/2011 21:36

I once wiped DS1's bottom WHILST on the phone WHILST breastfeeding DD2.

If that isn't multi-tasking I don't know what is.....Grin
