Sent friend request....

but have yet to be accepted by them. This was about 2 weeks ago. Now today, their posts etc are appearing on my news feed though if I click on them, I can't get past their privacy settings.
This happened once before and then about 2 weeks later I had the request accepted.

no it has happened to me - after a few weeks i delete my request assuming they don't want to be my friend

Thanks! Didn't know you could delete a friend request. Will see what happens in next week or 2.
