We moved to Scotland a few years ago and DD(4) and I have attended the local Church of Scotland parish church fairly regularly for the last couple of years but are not on their rolls (mainly because the clerk's never got around to it). DH and I were married in my parent's parish church (CofE) and DD was Christened there too. I can't decide how to answer the census question 'what religion do you belong to?' - the choices on the Scottish form include Church of Scotland and 'other Christian' amongst other things. The local services aren't really very different to CofE and the minister is very good so although I am happy that there is somewhere local that meets my religious needs I am also aware that I mainly attend Church of Scotland services because I live in Scotland and that if I was living in England I would not hesitate to tick CofE. It seems harsh to ignore the fact that I am a regular attendee at the Church of Scotland and I am inclined to tick that box for DD as it is all she has really known...
