both DDs have had a temp in last 24 hours. DD2 had high temp this morning but other than that seems ok. Due to go to nursery today as I work. DH and both sets of grandparents away so can't help. I am thinking I should keep them home but have so much to do at work. Wwyd?

I would have kept them at home.

The nurseries I used both had health policies which said children with temperatures should remain at home until their temperatures had normalised.

What is the policy at yours?

As the mother of a child who has health problems, I'd say keep them home. It's irresponsible to send them when all that will happen is they will share their bugs with the other children, and some of those children could end up really unwell. x

A high temperature indicates that their bodies are fighting some kind of bug. You can't always see the effects of these bugs as our bodies are quite good at dealing with some. I would keep them off.
