Promoting something on FB by giving it a page of its own

I have a flat that I want to 'promote' on FB (for free). I have my own page and have created a page for the flat with pics and a description but now what? It says I have to get 25 fans before it can have it's own username. But I don't know how to get the fans.

I know other businesses do this sort of thing but I am now stumped.

Just put a message on your own profile page asking friends to 'like' your new flat page - just make sure you clearly state the name of the new page etc so that they can find it easily. A friend of mine did just that and it worked! Good luck with your new venture :)

Thanks. I am giving it a go. I'm finding it hard because I can't see how my page looks to an outsider without logging in!
