maybe I should slap some makeup on myself, would have to be great stuff to make that much difference.

I'm sure Mariella can scrub up fine for a night out. Why shouldn't she go wothout makeup on a shopping trip?

It never fails to find these things thats for sure.Didn't you know women should never age or put on weight and if possible not work!

That is exactly the kind of story that makes me relieved my stellar career in television journalism never materialised...

I think she should do what she likes and so should we all.I just didn't think it was her when I first saw it

It is mildly interesting how much her facial structure appears to have changed between her glam photos and the "in the raw" ones - not sure where her chin dewlaps went in the glam ones!

But I don't see why she should look super-glam the whole time either - she should be allowed to go out without makeup on if she wants, without having the Daily Wail and other rubberneckers giving her a hard time. In fact, if she does look very different, it's probably a useful semi-disguise - although obviously not good enough here :(

I saw a photo of Cheryl Cole without make up and I couldn't believe it was her tbh. I am not pretty or attractive at all but do look a smidgin better with make up on.

LostInTransmogrification · 21/02/2011 13:41

Ulrika Johnson is just the same. I would love to know what makeup they use!

grumpypants · 21/02/2011 13:42

Make up can make an amazing difference as can lighting and the right camera angle. Wether any one should care is another matter.

noddyholder · 21/02/2011 13:43

I definitely look more bright nd less tired with make up but my facial structure remains and I am recognisable

I think smiling makes a huge difference to your face, and I think that's why the structure of her face looks so different in the other pictures. That said, considering her hard living past she doesn't look bad for someone knocking on 50. Not all 50 year olds should look like school girls (are you listening Carol Vorderman?)
