What would you like to see on the Mumsnet Facebook page?

We are having a look at how we run our Facebook page and would love your feedback.

What would you like to see on our page?

Here is our starter for ten:

Updates on Webchats and Campaigns.

Info on our monthly competitions and Wine/Book Club.

Flagging Discussions of day and other interesting threads.

Updates and images from Mumsnet Towers.

Let us know on here and/or on Facebook

I may be doing FB all wrong but I had to hide the MN page fairly soon after signing up for it as it was updating its status too often and thus clogging up my homepage.

Foiledagain Thanks for the feedback. We are aware of this and our intention is to cut down on the amount of updates. When we do post, we want to make sure it is relevant and interesting to you, that is the reason for asking for feedback.

UQD We completely understand your reasons and we know that FB mixed with MN is not for all, but we also know that many MNetters are on FB and link through to MN when they see our updates.

Actually, there is probably a way you could make the MN Facebook page so that nobody can see a list of all members so that members would retain their anonymity unless they post on the wall, post photos etc.

Didn't know there was one. Wouldn't use it. More than enough bloody FB pages to faff and waste time already. If I want MN I come straight to the coalface.

I imagine you're really doing it to swell the ranks of MNetters and because everyone else does - go to keep up with new technology etc. Which I don't mind about at all but dont think most established users would go to FB.
