Facebook dilemma

Bloody Facebook

I am currently on mat leave. About 12 months ago I took on a new team at work and pretty much my first task was to discipline a woman who was selling illegally copied DVDs at work. It was brought to my sttention by a woman off another dept who said that first woman was quite open about this, put it on Facebook. It is not allowed to do this at work - it's in the rules and regs.

Team member ignored me the first time I told her to stop and then we had a meeting with her, me and my manager where we said she would be in serious trouble if she carried on. She apologised, promised not to do it again etc.

We have a mutual friend on Facebook.... So I have just seen that she's at it again. She is copying something for a colleague.

Should I take a copy of the page and report? Or keep beak out?

Not going back to same job if that helps at all. If I were I would definitely report as otherwise I want to be consistent!

if she is selling illegal dvds then she is breaking the law. Why don't you inform the police? I would.

good point donnie - as I recall my manager told her she would ring the police if it happened again

Pass the info on to your manger to deal with.
