How old is too old for a low cut dress?

My DH and I have been invited to a black tie do so I need a new dress!
Virtually all the evening/cocktail dresses around are sleeveless, strappy, low cut etc.
Even though I think I look quite nice in some of them, is the wrong side of 45 too old to wear a cleavsge revealing dress? (confused)

It does depend on your décolletage really. A lovely smooth(ish)full bosom is a delight to behold.Think Alison Steadman.Grin A wrinkled saggy chest is not.

If a dress looks good and compliments your boobs then go for it.

Think Sophia Loren and go for it.

Unless you're very crepey.

Show off your cleavage, or your shoulders/arms or legs. All at once may be OTT. BUT if you've good figure etc. Go for it - you may not feel like it at 55.
