Parking with disabled badge

I know it's illegal but ...I visit my housebound 90 year old mum every afternoon and it costs me a fortune .
She's in a controlled zone and its £2.70 an hour .
So I,m tempted to use the badge ,even though I'm not picking her up or dropping her off ( well sometimes I am ) .
But I guess it would look a bit obvious if the wardens saw me parked on a meter every afternoon .

I wouldn't.

Can you get a bus? probably cheaper

Is there any chance of getting a residents permit? You might be able to get one "for her" and then use it, if you are there every day.

Sometimes I do get a bus but I try and get there in time to make her something for lunch and it can be tricky getting from my morning job ,picking up shopping for her and getting there in time .

I think with the residents permit she has to be the car owner .
