volvo or mazda?

08 reg volvo or a 60 reg mazda. which one would you go for?

We have a Mazda 6 and I wouldn't recommend tbh. It is spectacularly useless in snow as is the Mazda 5 across the road. It is our first and last Mazda getting shut of it in about six weeks hooray.

Oh. It's a Mazda 5 we're considering against a Volvo V50.

we have a v70 and love it.

Mazda 5! Marvellous. Especially the sliding doors and fold up seats. But how many kids do you have?

Only 2 DC and a small dog. Extra seats would be handy, but not essential.

Good. Because the middle seat really isn't wide enough for our large 11yo to sit in for long periods. It's great for 2 kids plus extras occasionally, and the sliding doors are bloody brilliant if you have babies/toddlers and/or a bad back. Or find yourself struggling to get out of the car in multistorey carparks.

The boot is MASSIVE and flexible, which I love.

My DH is a big car person and he says the build quality is better on volvo's so they are safer.
