I see David Tennant and his pretty, talented actress fiancee, Georgia Moffat, are having a baby.

Well that's fine. That's lovely. It's not like I liked him at all. And I'm spoken for of course. So marvellous, good luck to them. Spiffing.

Oh, yeah, Northern, he does a grand job of acting like a stuck up prick most of the time, IMO. To me he always comes across as a twonk.

And looks? That's good-looking? Book an appointment to have your eyes tested. He's the dry boak.

Northernlurker · 17/01/2011 20:27

She did have a baby very young. She's probably old for her age iyswim and he is doubtless young for his so they meet in the middle Grin

Not 'far too young' at all - she is 26 & he is 39 - that's 3 years less than the gap between my parents, who were happily married for over 50 years....

Northernlurker · 17/01/2011 20:27

Expat - it's the accent. Am a sucker for scottish accent.

She looks like a dozy bint who gets acting jobs because of her dad. Right up his street, I'm sure.

He's about as big a loss as Ben Ali.

expatinscotland · 17/01/2011 20:29

'Expat - it's the accent. Am a sucker for scottish accent.'

There's plenty of that up here. He's nothing special.

right on cue, RB Wink

AF - yes, she is the daughter of Peter Davison who played the 5th Doctor. Davison is his stage name. Peter Moffett is his birth name. (Her name is Moffett, not Moffat.)

pissed - yes, I'll get over it! I'm holding out for Kimab-lehh now. She has just done the CBeebies bedtime story and a guest vocal hook on a truly atrocious dance/rap record. Good start to the year :)

DancingThroughLife · 17/01/2011 22:40

I know exactly what you mean OP. Love DT. But she's gorgeous and lovely.

This is a bit sad, but all of our friends say DH looks a bit of a DT-a-like (so much so, that we have a brown suit and blue shirt for fancy dress parties Blush BlushBlush). So not only have I married a bloke who looks like him, but now it turns out we have the same age gap. And we've had a baby recently. Oh god, it's worse than I thought Blush.

UQD, I don't know who you are. We haven't got as far as books with DD yet Smile

AnyFucker · 17/01/2011 22:47

thanks for the spelling correction, UQD

I shall sleep tonight now Wink

I saw Kimberley on breakfast telly (I think) this morning. It was truly awful Grin

she looked most uncomfortable, like "wtf am I doing ??"

RustyBear · 18/01/2011 07:38

Actually, I misspelled Moffett when googling on my iPad and it it autocorrected it to 'midget'. Gave me some strange results....

UnquietDad · 18/01/2011 09:50

I wasn't correcting to be pedantic, just to make it clear that her birth name is the same as her dad's. I know Jasper Carrott's daughter Lucy Davies gets asked all the time when she changed her name!

On the Kimberley front, this is hilarious and spot-on. Watch the interview and you can see little Aggro eyeing up Kimberley's chest like nobody's business, and remembering just after he does so that one is supposed to look a laydee in the eye, not the boobies.

Pan · 18/01/2011 10:24

Oh don't worry NL, it won't last, and you can be there to 'comfort' him.....
UQD - we are busy re-decorating Dadsnet - take a stroll over.

Mumsnut · 18/01/2011 21:46

ComeAlong - just use the Time Machine

UQD - Lee Child? Martin Amis?
