Fake Child Benefit site - how can I prevent identity theft now?

I decided to apply for the Child Benefit online but instead of going to the HMRC site I ended up on the www.child-benefits-uk.com. I filled in the whole form including NI number, previous name and addresses etc, and cottoned up that something was dodgy only when I was asked to pay for the application. (Stupid cow, aarrgh!)

Is there anything I can do now to prevent them from using my details for identity fraud? Anyone I can warn?
