Just in case no one opens a better one

The WMD is absolutely gorgeous, Techno, but it is not for those of a delicate dispostion, like wot I am.

And and as for the other one, Shock
Cruise Missile incoming.

I think that was even more than the BW. Blush

Glad to hear the hand is improving. I fear Dr Track may be spreading himself too thin. Comme on dit.

I really enjoyed the cravat and sprigged muslin fest, Techno, it was very well edited.

Have you looked at my third offering yet? That is much more calming.

Wasn't it SmallPrint who posted the Cruise Missile earlier this week? being also of a delicate disposition myself, I famously have been ignoring Mr Porter - did you know, by the way, that Oh Mr Porter is a Marie Lloyd song? I hadn't realised the song was that old - but must admit that theripping off his shirt while he kisses her throat scene has me, err, transfixed.

Dr Track is not to be relied upon, I fear. I told my friend about him and he got quite cross.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 15/01/2011 00:05

What an unusual shot of your beloved Mr Thornton, he has a look of Guy about him there! Strange, that...

I am starting to become rather intrigued by our Sgt Twiglets, the scene whereof you speak is certainly... well, words fail me, I'm too busy fanning myself.

The Mr Porter song was often sung in our family, after a traumatic incident when it came true for me as a teensy tiny girl , and the train didn't stop at the stop I needed to get off at. I have been nervous of it happening again, all my life.

So of course The Song was always sung at me with great gusto.

OMG! Lucas North in tight wet jeans....I think I may have died and gone to heaven...Grin

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 15/01/2011 00:10

Of course he has a look of Guy there. He is Riled and is going to Punch Dr Track On The Nose (we know he can) for neglecting my very urgent medical needs.

I had a Mr Porteresque incident recently when I got on the wrong train and found myself unexpectedly changing at Clapham Junction to get on the right one. Oh dear me.

::loves the romance of railways and sees herself as Celia Johnson in Brief Encounter::

Theresaholeinyourmind · 15/01/2011 00:12

Calm yourself, MrsLN!
What naughty ladies we are to be sure!
I should think Armitagiana could pratically supply the whole UK power grid Grin

OP posts:
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 15/01/2011 00:16

Maybe, but think of the resources we burn, powering up all the 'phones and 'puters to watch this stuff. Not to mention all the post office vans bringing the Amazon parcels. Do you think Armitagemania is carbon-neutral?

But come and share my joy. Guess who's now beside me on the chaise longue? Yes, it's none other than the father of Impressionism, Claude Monet.

MrsLucasNorth · 15/01/2011 00:17

Evening Flowers, glad your hand is on the mend. Really enjoying Spooks 8, but do find Ruth hugely annoying (tbh Ros is probably the only female character that doesn't wind me up though)

Theresaholeinyourmind · 15/01/2011 00:17

My railway adventures are never as nice as Celia Johnson's. They mostly involve stifling trains with no loos broken down miles from civilisation, or hordes of teens with iPods or the like and business men 'on the train' being frightfully important on their flashy phones. And standing room only, with the odd buggy wheeled across your feet at intervals just to make things really interesting.

::cranks up the air con for MrsLN::

Is that on LimpopoRail, Theresa? It sounds uncannily like Notwork SouthEast.

MrsLucasNorth · 15/01/2011 00:24

Techno, I love trains too. Once did 2 nights on sleepers across Australia - was fab, although didn't sleep much - too excited!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 15/01/2011 00:24
you sure know how to paint!

What fun, Techno, he and Mr Thornton will have some nice intellectual discussions together.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 15/01/2011 00:28

Only the buffalo travel by LimpopoRail, Techno. My own sad adventures were courtesy of whatever British Rail is calling itself nowadays. Something different every year, it seems to me.

OP posts:
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 15/01/2011 00:31

Intellectual conversations? Not while I'm around I doubt they would agree. I imagine Mr Thornton is more a Landseer and Winterhalter sort of chap. But one never knows.

MrsLucasNorth · 15/01/2011 00:31

No, not really. Haven't seen the Penry-Jones years, Keeley Hawes was ok as far as I recall, don't mind Beth but they need to give her some decent storylines, Jo wad nice but not really up to the job and Ruth generally comes across as quite wet and frumpy imho.

No green-eyed monsters at all, honest!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 15/01/2011 00:34

Which bit, MrsLN?

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 15/01/2011 00:36

Re Monet- Thornton. Surely two such disparate views re art, and possibly life, the universe and everything, would generate a stimulating synergy. Innit.

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorth · 15/01/2011 00:37

Changing into boiler suit in derelict building. Would rewind but DH has just come in Grin

MrsLucasNorth · 15/01/2011 00:38

Theresa - don't you mean 'dichotomy'? Smile

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 15/01/2011 00:38

Ah, yes, synergy. Otherwise known as shouting. Although, on reflection, my dear Thornton likes progress and modernity, so you never know.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 15/01/2011 00:42

And possibly dialectic.

A gift for MrsLN

A gift for Theresa

And for me, because I'm worth it

Good night, dear ladies.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 15/01/2011 00:43

''don't you mean 'dichotomy'''
That too, MrsLN and any other words of more than one syllable that might mask my shallow nature.

Ii doesn't matter whether I like Elivis or not, it seems, as YT has decided to censor that one for me.
