The DCs school was closed Monday and yesterday because of the snow but is the only one in the area open today. It's at least a mile walk on ungritted paths and roads, I'll have the baby in a backpack and DS, who is four, hates the cold at the best of times. And it's DDs birthday. Would you go in that the weather is supposed to get worse today and the word from the other parents is that last year they opened the school then rang everyone to pick up their children mid-morning anyway?
