Eastenders. Is Dot leaving?

The last few episodes have been a bit weird, has anyone else noticed this?
Thought maybe they were setting it up for her departure

I wondered that too - tonight was really sad :(

Yeah very sad, making a toy train for george and having food laid out for himm , but also just the way it was filmed seemed different. Shame if she leaves

Yes - when it came back to her I was pretty much expecting to see her siting at the table - passed away :(

It will be sad if she leaves, but in RL she's a good age and is probably ready to put her feet up! :)

I hope she makes it up with Stacey before she goes though.

It made me cry when I saw the table all laid out

I was wondering if it was her birthday or something and everyone had forgotten maybe?

I feel very sad for her but think it is wonderful that Eastenders are tackling something like this. Maybe we will all check on our elderly neighbours a bit more often now, or spare them a few minutes in the street to chat.

I think it is too do with her being lonely, very sad bless her!

I hear she's having time off to do strictly christmas special, so perhaps it's building it up to that.
