And here are our study materials for the evening. Not sure if we've had them before, but have tried to find new ones - is getting trickier Grin!

Enjoy!

Glad you like him! Am off to watch some Strikeback with a large glass of PC and ponder what JL's next move will be...

Not to mention the annual holiday in a temperance hotel. But Johnny/Lukie would be too old for a playstation, wouldn't he? Maybe he yearned for a skateboard and never got one?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 21:33

I don't think a boy is ever too old for a PlayStation. Flowers.

Ah, bless, I am getting all misty-eyed at the thought of the poor little tyke. Having to wear crap check shirts and stripey jumpers with dodgy flannel keks, and having to help mummy at the church fete and have all the ladies chuck him under the chin and say how he's grown and how many hearts he'll break when he's a big boy.

Come to think of it, growing up is crap for most people!

Well hellooooooooo, John Lucas! Fab, MrsLN - will put an extra spring in my step tomorrow :) Can't wait to read more of him.

StripeyMoon · 18/11/2010 21:35

Liking John Mrs LN. Did I miss an ending for GTN?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 21:35
ASmallBunchofFlowers · 18/11/2010 21:36

What, even if he's 23 when they first go on the market?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 21:42

Yeah of course. What was it then, Flowers? Those Sinclair Spectrum things or was it a Commodore or something?

And he'd sulk and be out on the moors in all weathers, getting sheep muck all over his dodgy trainers, all misunderstood and full of Angst because everyone in his class could play Pacman or Donkey Kong or something.

Bodenbabe · 18/11/2010 21:43

Sorry, forgot to add, I will leave Strike Back for you then, Stripey. Promise I won't bid on it :) There was an ending for GTN a few pages back...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 21:45

Sorry Lucas fans. All this mickey-taking is pure displacement activity.

Bodenbabe · 18/11/2010 21:45

'tis v.funny, theresa!

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 18/11/2010 21:48

Warning: Some distressing scenes as well as gratuitous tattoo shots.

StripeyMoon · 18/11/2010 21:49

Thank you BodenSmile.

I keep loggin in on my phone and the signal is so rubbish round here that I seem to miss huge swathes every time I refresh. Also I keep not being able to get the vid clips.

I watched Sparkhouse today in the basement though and realised I saw it when it was on tele - I don't recall noticing RA when I first saw it though Shock, I blame the hair.

Bodenbabe · 18/11/2010 21:52

Flowers, I haven't seen that one before, that's fantastic!!! Thanks for sharing that with us.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 21:54

Seems there has been RL Spooks action going on not too long ago, with ex-KGB Colonel Alexander Poteyev and the Anna Chapman spy ring thing.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 22:04

Feeling bad now because I poked fun at him
Sad That first one was good, I liked the editing and the tattoo shots weren't bad

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 18/11/2010 22:07

I knew that if I advertised tattoo shots everyone would watch it.

I discard a lot of dross, you know, before selecting the good ones.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 22:09

I always watch your vids, Flowers, they are most educational

Fettle · 18/11/2010 22:16

You're right Flowers - that first one really did have distressing shots!Shock I couldn't watch it all - too violent for meShock[sensitive]

But the next one, was very well done and made me realise that I really can't remember anything that happened in earlier series, so I can get away with watching them again and pretending I've never seen them before!!Grin

MrsLN - I'm waiting to see a bit more of John Lucas before I make my final judgement!WinkSmile

Right - I'd best get myself to bed to make sure I have energy for this run tomorrow! Shame I can't have Lucas running along with us or away from us, as I think that would certainly make sure I kept going and didn't stop!!Grin. I'm going to be outrun by 5-7 year olds I know, but there the ones who have raised the sponsorship, us Mums are just going along for support!

Night all!

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 18/11/2010 22:19

Do you think Mr Thornton has ever put to sea? All sailors have tattoos. I suppose even brother Fred does.

Heellooo sailor.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 22:19

Good luck for tomorrow, Fettle. I hope you raise loadsa money.

Bodenbabe · 18/11/2010 22:20

Good luck, Fettle! I'm calling it a night, too. I need a good night's sleep as may need my energy tomorrow - you never know who I might meet :)

PrairieOyster · 18/11/2010 22:22

Good luck Fettle

Wonderful creative outpourings, girls - John Lucas is certainly interesting....and that poem is amazing!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 18/11/2010 22:22

Flowers, Mission Impossible music with gratuitous famous blue shirt shots. Another tour de force.

I am hearing mumblings about discrimination though, from the regions of Miltown and Nottingham.
