can you retract a FB friend request.

I have a couple of friend requests that have been in no-mans land for months (Miss Popular me ). Anyone know if I can recall the requests?

Go to your list of friends, they will be there with a 'pending' request, If you click on the x on the right you have to option to remove the link, thus taking back your request.
