Due to various ups and downs which may become relevant I find myself looking to move as a SP for a new start. I have 2 kids (yr 7 & 9) and I'm looking at crediton, devon at the moment. Can anyone share advice / information on living in this area? While it looks like a very possible option for me work-wise etc I would love to hear from anyone who can let me know how it is for the teenagers! And anythhing else! Thanks alot!

Hi, Crediton is a lovely little town to live in. The schools are brilliant and although a few teenagers spend their time hanging around in the park there are regular buses to Exeter.

Thanks for the prompt reply, that sounds very promising! Are there also things to do in town - sport, drama etc? We live very rural at the moment and I'm hoping this would enable the kids to be a bit more self sufficient. But the proximity to Exeter is a significant plus point!

There is a sports centre with swimming pool, drama club, fantastic dance school and brownie type clubs. Do you have boys or girls?? I would think there is something for whatever interests you or they have.

Thanks for that, its sounding better & better! I have 1DD (into drama, music etc) 1DS (into footy, rugby, cricket etc) . I want to create an environment for them that has stability and independence as recently things have been pretty unstable. I am hoping that we will come and stay for a few days over the weekend, maybe check out some properties for sale and rent etc. Get the ball rolling...
Really appreciate the information - there's nothing better than getting information from someone who knows! :)thanks :)
