waillllllll ds2 has lost Mr Blue, he is an ikea cuddly weird stripy legged girraffe thing. He has his own deep voice provided by ds2 (so if you find him I doubt he'll talk to you) and is a bit stinky with a stained belly.
SERIOUSLY WHY WAS HE STILL NOT SITTING BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHEN WE WENT TO LOOK FOR HIM?!!! Who would want it? It was disgusting!! DS2 thinks he might walk home by himself but
I am not holding out much hope....anyone found him? He was lost between queens park and cauldwell school in bedford, probably along the river....

Anyone know if Ikea still do weird blue giraffe toys?

Oh no! DS once left his dog called Charlie on the thomas table in Toy R Us, such a pitiful threadbear thing he was, I rang TRU when we got home but never got a phone call back to say they found it Sad
No idea about weird blue giraffes from ikea though sorry. Just wanted to share your anguish.

Thanks Ferret Smile It is gutting when you just find that these things seem to vanish...i keep thinking ours has probably got tossed into river by kids or ravaged by dogs!! Ikea dont do them anymore either, I am going to have to keep a vigil on ebay...

DD has one of these which I don't think she is very attached to, although she is prone to proving me wrong, just to spite me. However, he is pristine and will not fool anyone into thinking he is Mr Blue.

geraldinetheluckygoat · 06/10/2010 21:35

ahhh thanks SoupDragon, ds is being quite hopeful that he might still stroll up after his "adventure" down the river! I know what you mean about the toys, my ds's seem to have attatched themselves to every toy I have eyed for the Christmas Ebay Purge....its like they know

I will go and remove it from her bedroom now, whilst she is at school, in case you require a replacement. You can email me on
