What age do you think dd and ds need separate rooms

DD is 6 and ds is nearly 3. We have a 2 bedroomed flat and I really don't know how we are ever going to afford 3 bedrooms (we live in London). What age did your dcs need separate rooms?

Can't help much, as we have an 11 yo dd and a 9 yo ds in the same room. Can't do anything about it unfortunately even though we'd like to.

Its only our generation that expect separate rooms - our parents and all those before them shared!

I'm hoping they'll learn to compromise by sharing. Atm they're only learning how to wind each other up.

Mine already wind each other up. Ds is a bad sleeper and is forever waking his sister up.

I shared with my sister - I loved it but she probably didn't as I am 5 years younger than her Wink.
