Do you think Julia Roberts has had a tummy tuck?

latest pics of her on the beach.

Compared to this .

Okay, so time improves skin tone post-birth but I had a tummy like her's after my DCs and the only thing that solved it was a tummy tuck......believe me, I tried a lot of non-surgical intervention first!

oops, first link didn't work.

Try again here

BTW, not knocking her at all - obviously that would be hypocritical! But it does get a bit tiring to hear slebs going on about looking good naturally when they have had a little help :)

Pretty sure she said recently that she wouldn't have anything done... I think its just the way the light is - behind her in second shot so much more flattering. Quite nice to see a sleb with a wrinkly belly!

Miggsie · 01/09/2010 09:10

Possible, but my friend has the same sort of body shape and type as JR and my friend has had 4 kids and 4 weeks after number 4 she was wearing a summer dress and her stomach was flat as a board. She never exercises.

Depends how your muscles are.
No one in my family has muscles like that...sigh.

potplant · 01/09/2010 10:38

Its definitely shrunken a little bit. Perhaps she's just lost weight or the first photo was taken just after having a baby?

I tend to think probably not, but if she was that bothered by her appearance she would have shaved her armpits.

laydeecornyofsilke · 01/09/2010 10:39

I'd say probably not. Looks very natural to me - she's still curvy.

FranSanDisco · 01/09/2010 10:43

I think she just works out to tone up. I have a stomach like hers though I admit I didn't have twins.

potplant · 01/09/2010 10:46

I have a stomach like hers in the spotty bikini picture and I do have twins. Wish very much to have a stomach like the other one though.

CaptainKirksNipples · 01/09/2010 10:47

Don't think so, better light in the second one I guess, and maybe lost a few pounds.

WilfShelf · 01/09/2010 10:49

I think she has: no amount of toning can rid you of the saggy wrinkly skin she has in first picture. However even the before shot is enviable compared to mine...

She's definitely had work done, no shame in that.

Kerry - don't say that, I'm still of the belief that a few situps a day will cure my saggy crepey stomach.

electra · 01/09/2010 11:08

Possibly but I think it's also possible the first photo was taken shortly after she'd had a baby. It does sometimes take a few years and then things will go back into place. This happened to me btw - my tummy is almost back to normal but was a bit wrinkly for about 4 years after my first baby. Exercise and moisturisation can make a lot of difference.

I would say she's definitely had a breast aug though.

People in the public eye all have work done though - even minor celebs. Good work doesn't stick out a mile. You notice the person looks goo but you wouldn't immediately think they've had work.

electra · 01/09/2010 11:08

good*

CaptainKirksNipples · 01/09/2010 11:12

hmm, just looked at the photos again, and I'm not so sure now. I think her boobs do look slightly fuller as well and there is a weird shadow when she is in the water like kerry says.

Anyone know where she got her legs done?! GrinI would remortgage my house to get my legs to 44 inches!

FranSanDisco · 01/09/2010 11:15

Yes agree tits have had some work Grin.

LadyBiscuit · 01/09/2010 11:17

Yes I think you're right. I've said I would never have any work done but that was before I got corrugated skin on my tummy and if I had the money I think I would be very tempted.

FranSanDisco · 01/09/2010 11:19

Yeah, 44 inch legs - is that made up? Confused. Her legs are almost 4 ft then? Blimey.

jamaisjedors · 01/09/2010 11:19

Hmm, my tummy looks like the mummy tummy picture if I hold it in and stand at a certain angle.

If I change the angle slightly it looks "perfect".

The light is also totally different and there are no close-ups in the 2nd lot of photos.

CaptainKirksNipples · 01/09/2010 11:23

44 inches from the point of a toe to the top of her hip?

Bonsoir · 01/09/2010 11:32

Looks to me as if she definitely has had a boob job and a tummy tuck!

DuelingFanjo · 01/09/2010 11:56

nope. She's only 42 for frig's sake and probably does a lot of excercise. it is possible to have children and still work out enough to have a great looking body. Most of us are just too lazy!

LadyBiscuit · 01/09/2010 12:38

I have friends who are extremely fit, do tons of exercise, have extremely enviable figures and yet they still have slightly droopy skin on their tummy. Once you get to late 30s/early 40s, your skin's elasticity doesn't come back once it's been stretched through pregnancy sadly :(

PawMum · 01/09/2010 12:46

she has had her breast done aswell by the look of it

but I don't care really, her body her choice
