Would you GOF if your inlaws are staying?

Inlaws are staying with us for a week - they go home on Tuesday. DH and I are ttc and today my ClearBlue Fertility Monitor gave me a high and I got a +ve on an OPK this afternoon. DH has responded by saying that he's not having a GOF with his parents in the house. Just wondered whether other people do or not with parents staying? I'm not sure what I'd do if it were my parents - they live close enough that we don't have that issue!
Let's hope that Tuesday will still be timing it ok!

helloooo sorry if this is more than you wish to divulge, but how exactly did you, er, transfer what was in the "receptacle"? Can you just pour it in?? Confused Shock

CheeeseOnToast · 29/08/2010 22:08

Ah, whoops, x-posted

onepieceoflollipop · 29/08/2010 22:09

Gosh when I said my above post might be tmi it turned out to be very tame compared to what others have disclosed! Grin

lol at "pour it in". I imagine you could but a turkey baster/similar arrangment would propel the fluid far more effectively I should think.

Cheeseontoast - as above!!!

If you've ever bought the individually sealed gizmos of pre-seed, you'll know..

mountainmonkey · 29/08/2010 22:09

DS was conceived at MIL's house while we were visiting. Just make it a quickie and keep the noise down.

Bacofoil · 29/08/2010 22:10

administering pre-seed.....is that a gardening implement?

NonnoMum · 29/08/2010 22:11

Oh my word - preseed? There's a whole new world out there.

I'll lend you the Kazak student. He was such a PITA that he made DH appear extra extra extra desirable.

hellooo · 29/08/2010 22:12

Aaaaaanyway, enough about me.

Back to the OP - go for it if you don't want to waste the opportunity.

NonnoMum · 29/08/2010 22:16

essence just go for it. And if you waste the opportunity we're all coming round to offer advice from the landing through the bedroom door...

essenceofSES · 29/08/2010 22:16

Grin Thank you all for sharing!

So with DH fast asleep, I guess I could see what the morning holds if 15mo DS allows!
