I really want a Iphone, should I buy second hand or not?

I cannot get a contract as am still tied into one for over a year, so need to get an iphone on pay as you go or second hand.

Not sure if buying one from ebay would be dodgy?

There is a shop like cash converters called CEX and if you buy a second hand phone from them you have 1 years warranty.

But the phones are about £250 for 3g 8gb and £325 for 3gs 8gb brand new.

Really do not know what to do but really want an iphone....

I was in a similar position. I ended up buying a pay as you go, since my monthly tariff was so low anyway it worked out cheaper than buying one with a contract.

I always hesitate buying things like computers and phones second hand.

I wouldn't buy it second hand and I wouldn't buy anything lower than a 3GS.

Or you could wait a year and get one on contract when your contract expires.

I really do not want to wait a year.

suzihaha - how much did you pay for it on pay as you go?
