How to stop others viewing my friends list on FB

When ppl do a public search..I want to stop ppl seeing my friends...how can this be done?

If you click on the little pencil icon at the top right of your friends list it will give you an 'edit visibility' option. Then you can choose whether you want just friends to see it, or friends of friends, or you can customise it.
