Easily googlable person giving out PERSONAL details on the bus?

I was on the bus today.

Woman behind me using the traffic-ridden journey to make a complaint to the bank.

She said what she did for a living (was relevant to how her income stream is/saving a/c ishooes) and is in the same field as me so ears pricked up a little.

She then proceeded to make a business call, giving her name, her company name (she owns company), her home address (including repeating it basil fawlty style for the person at other end of the line)

She is really quite a high achiever (and I sort of feel she should know better) and very googlable (it's a bit like JustineMumsnet blabbing on the number 23 really)

Should I email her and say something as a well-wisher that she should be more careful in future?

Or leave it and let her get burgled/be victim of ID theft/whatever?

If you emailed her it would either shock her into being more careful or think you are a nutty stalker!

Bobbalina · 22/07/2010 18:37

stalk her yourself

I would leave it...

I don't see why that info is so worrying; just her name, company name, job title and address? Am I missing something?

ninah · 22/07/2010 19:00

wonder what she was doing on the bus

OnlyWantsOne · 22/07/2010 19:03

black mail her....

Fair enough. I'm obv overreacting.
I was just q surprised as her business is q successful (her personal overdraft that I heard all about aside)and I'm surprised that she was so ditsy about it all.
Thanks all.
