I won’t be saying who they are.

I recently spoke to a friend about it who
had lots of questions which lead to an interesting conversation, things I’d never said or thought about before.

When I was younger I used to feel incredibly jealous of them and had a very short and unsuccessful attempt at creating my own fame.

Now I’m older with my own dc and have seen the effects up close I definitely think the negatives out way the positives and it’s not something I would ever want for my children.

That’s unfair @Digerydont Some absolutely coast, and if you’re in it long term then of course they aren’t on top form all the time. Being in a soap is hard work and there are definitely good actors in their numbers.

How do you think their fame affected your relationship, separate to their wealth? Like if they had just become a successful banker with the same money, but could live anonymously, how would you have found that?

I was thinking KP too.

I’ve seen it be dangerous and very damaging for the children so there has to be restrictions and protections in place but I’m not completely against it in moderation, there are some positives and I think it would be sad for children to seem to completely stop existing online.

And yes, people often like to comment on celebrity kids sometimes more than they do the actual celebrity.

I don’t think so, because Kate M is world-famous (and OP said her sibling is not recognised outside the U.K.).

She had an awful childhood. Very much doubt it’s KK.

I really don’t think wealth has affected our relationship that much. Of course it would be nice and that’s what I dreamed of as a child/ teen but we had a comfortable enough childhood and I wouldn’t say I’ve ever been poor since. We have different tastes so the expensive things they’ve owned I wouldn’t necessarily want.
