AMA! several near death experiences

I’ve survived almost dying and had a few near death situations/experiences due to being really unwell. Thankfully much better now but I’ve seen a few AMAs on here about various things and thought I’d give it a bash if anyone was interested or had any questions 😅 apologies if it’s a bit boring haha first time doing this!

What were the situations that caused the ND experiences?

What were the situations that caused the ND experiences?

Fatal cardiac arythmias. My heart kept flipping into dangerous rhythms and on several occasions needed to be shocked out of it xx

is there anything you’ve seen or felt that has made you feel less afraid of death?

Overtheatlantic · 27/06/2026 20:50

Oh that’s a good question!

GasperyJacquesRoberts · 27/06/2026 20:50

What form did these NDEs take?

Mydahliasareshit · 27/06/2026 20:53

Were you involved in the ballet world in some way before these experiences OP?

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 27/06/2026 20:57

I was about to suggest being more careful, but it doesn’t sound avoidable! I imagined a series of unfortunate events, rather than poor health.

Does your condition seem better controlled now?

Tootiredtofuction88 · 27/06/2026 20:59

What did you see, if anything, whilst you were near death?

Honestly yes and no. I didn’t really feel anything for the majority of the experiences, everything just felt black and murky and I felt drunk at times. Sort of like being under a dark lake. It just felt like I was asleep, then drifting to awake again, then asleep again. At times I remember having fleeting thoughts but none of it made sense. So I guess it made me not scared because I know sort of what to expect, but the foreverness of death has ALWAYS scared me, like the idea it’s forever and NOTHING can reverse it. That’s always freaked me out and I think always will tbh!

You realise NDE is a term for your spirit exiting your body and the experience around that? Or are you saying you nearly died? They are different things.

Sorry do you mean like what did it feel like or what was the details health-wise? X

Haha no I actually haven’t been but I was just making a cake and had a random playlist on in the background and the swan lake music came on! Just had to think of a random name 😅

Yeah it’s better now thank you! I’ve had procedures to try and target the area of my heart sending the dodgy signals and now I have a device in my chest too. xx

They are asking this because you said you’ve had an NDE. I think you need to google the term!

Ohhhh oops sorry I didn’t know what’s what it meant!! I thought near death experiences literally meant if you nearly died and what it felt like. I just meant I almost died on multiple occasions and while most of it was murky and dark I have definitely had times where I remember parts of it and I was sort of in and out of seeing things while technically dying if that makes sense! Sorry probably explained that terribly! X

I’ve started a new thread altogether without the ‘near death experience’ in it because I hasn’t realised this meant something totally different haha. I’ve asked MN to delete this thread 👍🏼
