With the news and social media being full of SEND news, I thought it might be insightful to do one of these.

I'm pleased there's a narrative on inclusion, if provision is good for the most vulnerable of pupils then the thinking is it will be supporting others too. There will still be a focus on other pupils. For me inclusion doesn't just mean those with sen.

I agree that's what inclusion should mean, but sadly it seems it isn't what Ofsted are interested in. They only want to look at those with SEN with the mantra that what works for them will work for all. It sounds good, but I don't see how that can be possible when so many of the adjustments are tailored to unique needs (quite rightly). I just think it isn't fair to essentially pick a group of children over another. It seems that this country is very good at accidentally creating sides which is not in itself inclusive. All children ahould be supported to achieve their best. Still, not much that can be done about it and sorry, I've rambled and it isn't quite what you set out to answer.

I get it, the education system isn't supporting all children equally at the moment and that's a huge issue.
