I'm about to go for an interview for a HCA within a prison and currently working within community GP as a HCA,
What can I expect i.e daily job load and what should I plan for my interview.

I think you’ve posted in the wrong topic. This is ‘ask me anything’ . You can come back on here when you get the job! Good luck. Sorry I have no tips.

Where should I post this then ?

Good luck for your interview tomorrow.

I've worked within a prison but as a tutor so a different sector.

However, a few of my interview questions were regarding working in a prison such as how do I plan on dealing with challenging situations, people being aggressive, and violent behaviour etc.
There will most likely be questions around, safe guarding and reporting corruption too.

If you have any questions about working in a prison in general, I'm happy to try and help with answers 😊

There’s a HCP thread you may get some answers on. link below.

I did consider applying for a similar position but I have a friend who’s DH works in a prison, he was recently attack-unprovoked-it really shook him up and he’s ex forces and he’s a big guy. I have no clue how they would ensure the safety of a HCP so decided it’s not for me.
