What’s it like having a sister who’s more than 20 years older - does it feel more like having a second parent than a sibling?

Does your son feel like he has a big sister & not a mum?

No sadly she has struggled with her mental health she was sectioned before I was even born and I barely saw her for most of my early childhood and now she is on very strong antipsychotics so can’t think too clearly

You obviously had your son young, what support did you have around you? It's a shame your sister was unwell and couldn't be a support to you.

No although he was a bit bamboozled a few months ago when he was talking with his friends about their parents age to discover they were so much older
