I work PT as a call centre agent for the DWP and I'm a little bored this evening.

Do you WFH?

I ring regularly to update my Dad's attendance allowance record. Into hospital, back out, respite care etc, note the POA etc. All required admin tasks none of which have currently changed his entitlement but are, quite rightly, declarable because they potentially could.

I've only ever had one person who spoke with any empathy. This was appreciated- it's not easy caring 24/7 for a person with dementia.

I've often wondered is being cold and unfriendly part of the job training?
