Assuming you wear a scarf and maybe a robe, does it not get very hot during summer in all that extra clothing? It would drive me mad having my head covered (as your religion does) in the heat.

When you use water after having a wee, how do you dry ? If you use loo roll, why don’t you just skip the water, as water on its own doesn’t clean and it’s just making you wetter ? Or is the water just a religious thing, rather than actually cleaning ?

I hope you feel okay and have not experienced any of the rising anti-Muslim heat we hear about. I want to tell my Muslim friends and colleagues that I support them, but how can I do that and check in without it, seeming really patronising and condescending?

I know I am not being asked, but I also use water and I always use this analogy.

If some wee or poo got on your hand, would you be ok just wiping it with tissue and not washing it with water? Probably not. It's the same concept for us. Just a wash and dry with loo roll.

Edit: it's both a religious thing and a clean thing as the religion is big on cleanliness.

But water doesn’t clean it, you need some form of soap/toilet wipe to get rid of the bacteria. I wouldn’t just use water to wash poo/wee off my hand.
