That’s amazing, well done. What sort of injury did you have? How long did it take?

yesrs ago I had a complete l1 fracture but no spinal cord involvement thankfully.

i had a t11/12 fracture with compression on cord. Had a fusion from t9-l2. Also had many other broken bones so it took a while to get to stand up.

to stand took three weeks
to shuffle with a Zimmer took about five weeks, but I was still paralysed all down legs except quads and a little hamstrings.

another four months to move to crutches

another three to one crutch.

im now starting to walk without as my calves and toes hbe started working a little now

Ps @VisaWoes you we’re e so lucky with that l1. I actually fractured my c1 15 years before and again, so lucky not to have spinal cord damage from that.
