I'm a little confused. Is your degree about Elderly Parents?

I did a science degree in the 1990s and it opened professional doors definitely, do I was very surprised recently to hear my mother say age wished my sister and I had gone to another university and she felt Oxford wasn’t worth the stress/ toll on mental health.

OP may I suggest you ask for your post to be moved away from Elderly parents category into Chat for example. This category is for threads about caring for elderly parents and you won't necessarily get the traffic your looking for.

A common misconception. Oxford students are not the ‘crème de la crème’, they’re people who are good at the subjects that they have applied for.

I think we've all worked by now it's not the crème de la crème.

What did you study?

Did many students come from private schools?

Do you know what kind of support you get if you have children?
