Damn I'm out of questions yes it’s tricky without knowing the show. I like the AMAs on Reddit which are not anonymous.

Was it filmed in front of a live audience? We’re you nervous on stage.

How did you find the presenter?

How long did it take for the money to clear in your account?

The presenter was nice, but we had little interaction beyond me going up to the stage.

They go through a lot of contestants and everyone is tired, I was last of the day so lots of refilming of the introductions and ad breaks and lots of swearing. I was shaking with fear.

It took exactly 56 working days which is also the maximum time frame given.

Was it a quiz show, ie did you have to answer questions?

It was a quiz show, interesting format, not just the typical q&a type.

I received the money in Jan this year - I have spent £15k of it. It went on holidays, gifts and charity.

The rest is invested in a Vanguard account.

Out of interest, why do you want to keep your identity a secret? After all, the whole country saw you win the money on TV so it's not like it's a secret generally.

I thought it was going to be This Morning competition, £50k plus all them amazing prizes before Christmas.

Unfortunately, if I told you the show you'd know my full name and address from a quick Google. I am easy to find because of the amount / show.

For some reason I thought you meant years ago 🙈 like Take Your Pick or Wheel of Fortune etc

I genuinely didn't think I would even get on. It all started as I got into comping during lockdown and the application opening was posted on the MSE forum.

I entered and it kept going and I kept passing auditions. I was nervous from a very obvious place. However, when it came to it I was so scared of making a fool of myself. I didn't expect to win money and was fine with that, it was that I could say something stupid!

If you want to remain confidential (and are an accountant from Essex) I would delete this thread but Congratulations and well done on your win! I would love to do this but would be far too nervous!

I just googled £50k win on The Cube and all I found were articles about the two brothers who were on it recently who apparently cheated in their £50k win. Scandal.
