I assume this will only interest people with a hearing loss but even if I can reach one person who is considering it, it would be worth it.

Spodo yes masks are a nightmare aren't they, I don't even bother trying with waiters at restaurants, get my dh to interpret. At least you know your hearing won't deteriorate further. If you're managing ok then that's fine. I'm in my 50's and am finding that my friends' hearing isn't that sharp anymore, they don't want to sit in noisy places either.

I have worn hearing aids for almost 20 years and my hearing has deteriorated badly during this time. I am now wondering about implants.
