need help made eggshell cress seedand the cress is growing nicelybut the smell is awful has anyone made these before and is it normal to smell so bad, its been 5 days now since my grandson and i made them

Hi, yes, in my experience the smell is a bit grim from the cress germination itself, I have wondered if the worst of the pong comes from waterlogging the base and the smell comes from stagnant water?

Did you wash the egg shells really thoroughly?
